BeneLynk Launches New, Comprehensive Social Determinants of Health Website

This week we launched a new website at www.BeneLynk.com. When we started BeneLynk in January of 2016, our goal was to build a comprehensive Social Determinant of Health (SDOH) solution. Our first step toward that goal, was a product to close a blind-spot for MA plans, understanding the care their veteran members receive through the Department of Veterans Affairs. We have built on the success of that product offering, and our partnerships with managed care plans throughout the country to bring our vision of a comprehensive SDOH solution to reality.

Our product has three areas of focus:

Community Lynk: This is the beginning of our conversation with members. We lead with help, asking your members about their lived experiences and the barriers they face. We document SDOH barriers (using ICD-10 codes where possible) and offer assistance with over 150,000 benefit programs.

Veteran Lynk: We identify veterans (typically 22% of an MA population) and use of the Department of Veterans Affairs (typically 5% of an MA population) and communicate this meaningful information to our clients. We then retrieve documentation of the care these members receive at the VA. Our clients use this information to better serve their veteran members.

Dual Lynk: The most powerful impact we can have in addressing SDOH is to help your members enroll in programs that provide financial assistance. Our Dual Lynk program casts a wide net to find members who are eligible for, but not enrolled in Medicaid (including the Medicare Savings Programs). By integrating Dual Eligible Advocacy into a wider conversation, we create a positive member experience and increase Dual Eligible penetration rates.
