BeneLynk’s Commitment to A Diverse and Inclusive Environment

BeneLynk publishes formal statement on diversity and inclusivity

From our founding, BeneLynk has been a company committed to equity. Our One Lynk service is, at its core, about addressing the disproportionate barriers that some people face. These barriers prevent people, who often have lower incomes, and live in disproportionately challenged areas, from living their healthiest lives. By providing professional, human-to-human advocacy, we are able to mitigate or even remove these barriers, creating a more equitable health system.

While looking to serve a diverse population, we want to ensure that BeneLynk creates and maintains a diverse and inclusive environment. We have found that this commitment is the right thing to do and can help to make our services more effective. When we call on a given community, we recruit our outreach teams from that community. We seek to “speak the language” of those we serve – both literally and figuratively. Examples of this include hiring bilingual staff to engage members in their preferred language, and veterans and active-duty military spouses to call on veterans in our managed care membership. This commonality with the populations we serve means that our company is infused with diverse perspectives, driving us to better understand and serve the Medicare and Medicaid recipients to whom we outreach.

Today I am pleased to publicly release BeneLynk’s formal Diversity and Inclusivity statement:

At BeneLynk, we believe that creating an environment of true diversity and inclusion helps us to best serve our employees, our members, and our clients. We know from experience that when people feel respected and included, there will be more creativity, commitment, and overall success. As President of BeneLynk, I believe in the power of people who bring their authentic self to a meaningful mission. The goal of increasing our diversity and inclusivity is never-ending, as is our commitment.

This statement points to our ongoing work to build and maintain an environment of diverse perspectives, and respectful, inclusive partnership.
